Are you interested in going to a detox and treatment center, but are worried about what comes after that? Does the idea of “relapse prevention” concern you? The success of a wellness center such as ours isn’t necessarily measured through how patients are during their time here (although that is critically important) but rather, how they fare once they leave the Vanity Wellness Center. We’ve helped so many folks struggling with addiction to not relapse, to go on to lead the healthy, happy, and sober lives that they want.
What Can Cause Relapse
There are any number of factors that could potentially cause a relapse. We can help you with essentially all of them. Many relapse because they’re stressed, bored, having struggles with money or relationships, angry, or just back into their old habits, old places, that kind of thing. Some people don’t relapse “immediately” but rather, signal it, through compulsive and risky behavior, destructive thoughts, anxiety, depression, mood swings, and much more. Here at Vanity Wellness Center, we prepare you for preventing relapse as much as possible while you’re here. That way, you have everything you need when you leave.
Relapse Prevention Skills
From essentially the day your treatment begins, we work with you on preventing relapse. That could mean putting together a detailed plan with you, it could also include helping you to better know yourself as well as your triggers, too. Additionally, we work with you to develop healthy, positive habits in all things. That way, you’ll have positive coping mechanisms, healthy ways of making yourself feel good and living your life. We work with you to recognize high risk situations as well as how you can adequately prepare for them. So much of planning to prevent relapse is about planning to help you to lead a great life after Vanity Wellness Center.
A Focus on Preventing Relapse
The goal of all of our treatments is to prevent relapse, so that you can live life on your terms. There’s nothing “easy” about avoiding relapse, there’s nothing “simple” about it. However, we’ve worked with so many folks who were where you are right now: reading something online and wondering how they can take the next step in their lives. We know how difficult it can be to reach out to a center like ours. When you’re ready to take that next step, we’re ready to help. To speak to someone or just to get more info, call (866) 587-1737
